Juanita is a purpose-driven scientist and engineer, motivated to address world challenges through research. From 2023-2025, she was a distinguished postdoctoral fellow in the group of Prof. Bilge Yildiz at MIT. She obtained her Ph.D (2023) and M.S (2021) in Materials Science and Engineering from Georgia Tech, and her B.S. (2017) in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. She enjoys running and spending time with friends.
