Xiangyu will join the Hidalgo Lab as a Ph.D. student at NYU in Fall 2026, where he works on perovskite solar cells and sustainable energy materials. He received his B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Georgia Tech. His research interests include device stability, advanced characterization of energy materials, and sustainable strategies for processing and recycling next-generation energy technologies. Outside the lab, he enjoys soccer, archery, and music.
